SINTAC Recycling receives a visit from the LIFE team of the Slovenian Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy

SINTAC Recycling recently welcomed representatives from the Slovenian Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy, together with members of the LIFE CLOOVER² project team, to its facilities.

During the visit, SINTAC Recycling presented the objectives and progress of the LIFE CLOOVER² project, an initiative focused on promoting innovative solutions based on the reuse and recycling of plastic food-contact packaging. The project aims to advance circular economy practices and contribute to a more sustainable plastics value chain.

The delegation also shared information about the LIFE IP CARE4CLIMATE project, which is designed to promote Green Public Procurement (GPP) and strengthen capacities within public institutions and universities. The project plays a key role in supporting climate and sustainability objectives through policy implementation and knowledge transfer.

Particular attention was given to dissemination and awareness-raising activities, as well as the technical support provided to LIFE projects. These actions help maximize project impact in areas such as sustainability, energy efficiency, and the reduction of CO₂ emissions.

The meeting included a productive question-and-answer session that fostered knowledge exchange, collaboration, and the exploration of future joint initiatives between the participating organizations.

The visit concluded with a networking lunch, providing an additional opportunity to continue discussions and share ideas in a more informal environment.

SINTAC Recycling would like to thank the representatives of the Slovenian Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy and the LIFE CLOOVER² team for their visit and valuable contribution to strengthening cooperation towards a more sustainable and circular future.
