The LIFE CLOOVER² project has been included in the 2025 Catalogue of Good Environmental Practices published by the Spanish Confederation of Business Organisations (CEOE). The catalogue has been developed by the organisation’s Department of Industry, Energy, Environment and Climate and highlights initiatives that promote sustainability and environmental responsibility within the business sector.
CEOE is one of the most representative business organisations in Europe, integrating more than two million companies across Spain and representing all sectors of the economy.
The inclusion of LIFE CLOOVER² in this catalogue recognises the work being carried out through the project and the positive environmental impact it aims to generate. The project contributes to several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 14 (Life Below Water).
This recognition reinforces the project’s commitment to innovation and sustainability, the sharing of knowledge within the business ecosystem, and the promotion of a more responsible and competitive economy. The LIFE CLOOVER² consortium will continue working to transform environmental challenges into opportunities through circular solutions for plastic packaging.
This week saw the start of the 2026 Circular Training Itinerary at CIEC MADRID – Madrid Circular Economy Innovation Centre with a programme to support entrepreneurs and professionals who want to transform their ideas into circular, solid and forward-looking business models. The programme features leading speakers in sustainable design and the circular economy.
The first session took place on Tuesday 24th February, entitled ‘From theoretical circularity to practical reality. Specific examples with plastic packaging’ given by Teresa Martinez, Director of Circular Economy Projects at SINTAC RECYCLING.
Teresa shared with the audience the LIFECLOOVER2 project, which she coordinates at SINTAC, as an example of real circularity applied to plastic materials and packaging. She outlined the objectives and activities carried out, focused on promoting the reuse and recycling of polyolefin plastic packaging, such as drums, bottles and boxes, for agri-food use.
